Why Belted?
Traditional live bottom floor trailers use a narrow 900mm belt, which forces a ‘V’ shaped body. That reduces cubic volume, limits them to high-density products, and raises the centre of gravity, which makes them less stable to drive on the road. Belted solves this with the widest belt on the market that keeps the body square, just like a conventional tipper. You get comparable cubic capacity, a wider range of materials and better driving stability, without compromise.
No Tipping, No Risks
The body never lifts, so there is no rollover risk while unloading and no contact with overhead power lines.
Tipper-Like Capacity
The square body has capacity comparable to a conventional tipper, well beyond
narrow-belt live bottom trailers, and it unloads in about the same time.
Greater Stability
A ‘V’ shaped body carries its load higher, and that higher centre of gravity makes
narrow-belt trailers less stable on the road. Belted’s square, wide-belt body keeps
the load lower and wider, for more stable handling on site, the paddock and the
highway.
More Versatility
Load what you would normally put into an aluminium tipper body, including sand, aggregates, sandstone, soil, mulch, spoil and fertiliser. One trailer can cover several jobs.
Proven Tailgate
A standard tailgate design, trusted on tipper bodies for 50 years. The belt is fully
enclosed for a tight seal, and the belt seals are built not to wear out. There are no
hydraulic rams to maintain.
Customisable Heights
Belted bodies and trailers can be custom-built to different heights, for lighter products or different applications. Configurations range from a single rigid truck to a B-double.
